01 — Installation
Hempcrete installation
Spray and hand-cast installation of hempcrete for internal wall insulation (IWI), external wall insulation (EWI), and new build walls. We install using the 3CM spray machine for most projects, switching to hand-cast for specific details and thicknesses where appropriate.
02 — Advice
Technical advice
We support architects and building designers through the specification process — reviewing build-ups, advising on achievable finishes, checking details for moisture risk. We don't produce architectural drawings, but we can annotate and comment on existing ones.
03 — PassivHaus
PassivHaus consultancy
Annie is a certified PassivHaus Designer. We offer PassivHaus consultancy for new build projects — supporting architects from early-stage energy modelling through to certification. PassivHaus is a rigorous German building standard that prioritises thermal comfort and energy efficiency. The results speak for themselves.
04 — WUFI
WUFI hygrothermal assessment
WUFI is specialist moisture modelling software. We use it to assess the moisture safety of proposed wall build-ups — particularly important for any internal wall insulation on existing buildings. A WUFI assessment tells you whether your proposed insulation system is safe before you commit to installing it.

For Main Contractors
Working inside your programme
We integrate seamlessly into your programme. Experienced working to tight schedules, liaising directly with your site manager, and delivering walls clean and plaster-ready.
We work as a specialist subcontractor within your existing programme — not around it. Before we arrive, we agree access dates, sequencing and any interface details directly with your site manager. On site, our small team works to the standards you'd expect from any specialist trade: full PPE, signed in daily, RAMS provided in advance. We're fully insured and VAT registered, and happy to work to your subcontract terms. Walls are left clean and ready for the next trade, with photographic records of the finished installation for your QA file.

Technical support from concept to completion
Technical support from early concept through to installation. We review details, advise on achievable finishes, and run WUFI assessments and U-value calculations in-house.
We work best when we're brought in early — even at sketch stage. We'll review your proposed build-up, flag any moisture risk before it becomes a problem, and tell you honestly whether hempcrete is the right material for the job. Once a scheme is developed, we provide U-value calculations and WUFI hygrothermal assessments to support your Part L submission, and we'll annotate or comment directly on your drawings rather than asking you to start again. We don't produce architectural drawings ourselves, but we'll make sure what's specified is buildable.

Your project, explained as we go
Your dream project deserves the right material and team. We guide you through everything — from early design questions to the final wall. Staged payments available.
Self-build is different — you're making decisions about your own home, often for the first time, and you want a contractor who'll explain things rather than just quote them. We'll talk you through whether hempcrete suits your design, your timber frame thickness and your budget, and we'll keep talking throughout — most self-build clients have a lot of questions, and we'd rather you ask them than guess. Staged payments (30% before arrival, 40% during install, 30% on completion) make the cost manageable alongside everything else a self-build demands.

Retrofitting the house you already live in
Most of our retrofit work is in people's homes — solid wall Victorian terraces, period cottages, 1930s semis, anything where the existing wall is letting heat out. Spray hempcrete bonds directly to your existing wall with zero air gap, which is exactly what you want on an older building: it manages moisture instead of trapping it.
We'll talk through whether hempcrete is the right call for your walls, what U-value improvement is realistic, and how installation fits around you living in the house — most jobs are done room-by-room or while you're away. Staged payments are available, the same as for self-build clients.
